About Me

My Name is Oscar R. Gutleber, I was born in Cuba but moved to Miami at a young age. I attended Miami-Dade in order to obtain my Associate’s in Arts, to then transfer into Florida International University. I am now graduating with a Bachelor’s in Philosophy from FIU. I am also receiving a certificate in Law, Ethics, and Society, because my goal is to enroll in law school after graduation. My ambitions are to apply to work at the State Attorney’s office for a few years, then shift to working for a corporate firm, I want to make larger changes than just those limited by individual to individual. After spending time taking part in the Global learning program, I can truthfully say I am a more globally aware citizen. I took parts in the Tuesday rounds tables, as well as debated within them; and have gone of one of our school’s study abroad programs to Japan, to get to know both their business culture and traditions.
